Questions
Common questions about our programs, getting involved, and how peer support works.
Peer support is help offered by people who share similar experiences. It centers shared knowledge, empathy, and encouragement to promote personal growth and well-being — connection from someone who truly gets it.
Our programs are open to adolescents and young adults seeking peer support, and to their caregivers and families. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences — and every RYI program is free. The optional paid app is never required to participate.
Nothing. RYI programs are always free to families. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, the only thing you need to bring is yourself. An optional paid mobile app may be offered separately and is never required for program participation.
Submit a short inquiry through our contact page. A real person on our team will follow up by phone or email to answer questions and help you find the right program — you can start your first session in as little as one week.
